Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, monitor, record, or store your traffic destination, data content, or search preferences. This means that the content you translate using InstantTranslator remains private and is not tracked or stored by us in any form.

Information We Collect

In compliance with third-party advertising platform requirements, our product collects certain device information and advertising data. The data collected includes, but is not limited to:

• Device type and model
• Operating system version
• Advertising ID
• Data related to ad performance and engagement

This data is used to generate statistics related to our third-party advertising partners. The primary purpose of collecting this information is to prevent advertising fraud and ensure the delivery of relevant ads. Importantly, this information does not include your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information.

Offline Translation and Google ML Kit

InstantTranslator uses Google ML Kit to provide on-device offline translation. When you use Offline Translation, the text translation step is performed locally on your device using language models provided by Google Translate. Your text and the resulting translation are not sent to Google for the purpose of generating the translation.

The ML Kit SDK may connect to Google services to download or update language models, receive bug fixes and hardware compatibility information, and send technical, performance, and API usage metrics to Google for service maintenance, improvement, security, and abuse prevention.

Downloaded language models are stored on your device and can be removed through the app where supported or by deleting the app.

In voice, camera, photo, and screen translation modes, Google’s on-device translation applies only to the text translation step. Speech recognition, optical character recognition (OCR), and text-to-speech may use separate technologies.

When you request a refund for a completed purchase, we need to verify the transaction and related account activity to ensure fair use, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet the requirements of distribution platforms, payment institutions, and applicable laws. By submitting a refund request, you consent to our collecting, using, and retaining the relevant information, and disclosing it as necessary to distribution platforms (such as Apple) and payment service providers, for refund review, processing, and dispute resolution. Such information includes your ordering and refund records, transaction reference number, the delivery and use of the purchased content, and account activity (such as account age, past spending, and prior refund history). This authorization is a precondition for processing your refund request; if you do not agree, we may be unable to proceed.
